The entry of “Personal Gourmet” rallied in Week 17 to win a $1.4-million prize in the famous Westgate SuperContest.

Personal Gourmet entered the final day of the season tied for third place, 2.5 games out of first. A perfect 5-0 record propelled Gourmet to the top, ahead of “@Pigskin_Junkies,” which was 2-3 on the day and ended up tied for second to win $409,000.

It took a stunning 59-25-1 record (70.2 percent) to capture the popular NFL handicapping contest, according to the Las Vegas ***************. A total of 3,123 contestants were entered with payouts made to the top-100 finishers. The entry fee was $1,500. Entrants had to select five games each week against the point spread.

The Westgate’s separate SuperContest Gold, a winner-take-all contest with a $5,000 entry fee, was won by “There Can Be Only 1,” which finished 55-27-3 (67.1 percent) for a $640,000 grand prize, per the ***************.

@Pigskin_Junkies, which would’ve won the $1.4 million first-place prize in the Westgate SuperContest if Tennessee had covered as a 3-point contest underdog to Indianapolis. But Andrew Luck threw for three TDs to lead the Colts to a 33-17 win and a playoff berth.

Personal Gourmet went 5-0 ATS Sunday to top a record field of 3,123 entries in the SuperContest with a 59-25-1 record (70.2 percent). It had the Cowboys, Chiefs, Eagles, Bears and Browns.

@Pigskin_Junkies, which went 2-3, and Rush YYZ 2112, which went 3-2, finished tied for second with 59-26 marks and will settle for $409,000 apiece.

Besides winning on a backdoor cover by the Browns, Gourmet also was fortunate the Cowboys covered as 6½-point underdogs. Dallas trailed 35-28 before Dak Prescott threw a 32-yard TD pass to Cole Beasley on fourth-and-15 to make it 35-34 with 1:12 left.

Question does the winner really want that specific info about a proxy out there does that create any issues (taxes, rules, identity) I dont know how that proxy service stuff works as Ive not entered that contest. I would need a proxy (as im out of state) so I know they allow it! well done bet you were watching that Dallas game! wow...

How does this contest work?

Can you do it online if you sign up and pay the entry in person?

Doesnt cause any issues, as no ones identity is put out there.

Also, was watching the Colts-Titans game more, If Titans had covered, he would have been bumped out of first

You pay the proxy a flat fee and they enter with you (the player) in person to sign up. Proxy can collect no money. Player signs for all paperwork and tax forms. Player receives the check. I finished 18th last year and thats how it worked for me. 44-38-3 for me this year

If the winner of the Super Contest is from out of state do they owe Nevada any taxes or just the state they reside in?

That sucks red eye. Also had Giants that cost me. Ended up 35th. Giants would've probably got me in the teens.
